I’ve spend the weekend in the Swedish woods cooking for a wedding. 100 people. 9 course menu. We were quite busy, but we managed to go forage a bit for both the dinner and bring home. I brought home some cowberries and blueberries. Real blueberries, not those pesky bog billberries, blue berries. You can ofcourse taste the difference. Blueberries are blue all the way through and alot sweeter. I’ll write a few recipes with those later.
We used the heather and juniper branches for smoking our red deer on the grill.
What a lovely weekend in Småland.
